For whom?

Our Venture Labs incubator is aimed at founders with disabilities with high-growth, technological or technology-based business ideas. Whether your idea is on paper or is still in your head, this program will provide you with the necessary tools to take your business from the initial idea to the initial stage.

Why?

People with disabilities are constantly neglected by resources and programs aimed at entrepreneurs. 2Gether-International challenges the entrepreneurial ecosystem by demonstrating that disability is a competitive advantage for companies. By giving founders with disabilities the tools they need to thrive—community, education, funding opportunities, and mentoring—we can change that perspective.

DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS?

We have answers

What do you consider a disability?

Following the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, 2Gether-International and BID Labs define “disability” as a physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairment that can be permanent.

A “deficiency” is defined as the absence, deterioration, or loss of a bodily function that affects a person's basic activities. When combined with social barriers, these deficiencies can prevent people from fully participating in society on an equal basis with their non-disabled counterparts.

Do I need a specific business idea to sign up?

No. All ideas and business stages are welcome to participate in Venture Labs.

Can I complete this program at my own pace?

Yes. Venture Labs is a self-paced program with an end date, plus scheduled in-person workshops and consultation hours. This means that you can take certain parts of the course whenever you want. However, you must complete them before a specific deadline. Founders must attend 75% of scheduled in-person events, in addition to all course work and homework, to obtain the certificate of completion.

How much does Venture Labs cost?

Nothing! Thanks to our sponsors, Venture Labs is completely free for all participants.

The call for the FIRST Venture Labs LAC incubation program is now open.
